Daytrip To The Island

Despite a still dickey tum, we managed to get out today and I managed to get some photographs shot. Just as well, it was starting to get a bit miserable about these parts and in need of something nice and new to look at.

We took Elis to Barry Island, treating him to some nice greasy spoon chips, a go on the rides and a bucket and spade. Best place to start really, here are a few of the little man at play.

"You rotten buggers, dig me out now!"

And as there wasn't much light to shout about, there are a few detail shots of one of the Promenade galleries.

And this lovely old building looks very much in need of a brush of paint and some TLC, before it just gives up the ghost and fades away completely?
