Last Legs

Looks like my camera is failing fast. The old Minolta Dimage F-200 is becoming increasingly stubborn and unwilling to work. If it was a cat I'm certain it would be going behind the sofa right about now.

This leaves me wondering what to do. Do I wait a few months and get a DSLR or do I just get a cheaper one now. To be honest I'd rather have a point-and-click than a pro thing. I think I can just about afford a new point and click, but I've not been following the market. There'll be no photos for a while I'm afraid, until things are sorted.

Hey Hey!That's weird, I've never considered what a digicamara would do when it got old enough ('course same goes for me ...), but there are some nice new ones out and the price is way below what it once was. Looking myself, and there seems to be lots of spring sales.

Next, I suppose all our old CDs will start going to crap soon enough ...

Hey Greg - how's tricks? Bizarrely, in some cases a lot of stuff is worth more on CD than it is on vinyl these days - specially the obscure 80s indie stuff I love.

Not long after posting this, I said buggeration and went and ordered myself a Canon PowerShot A460 - I'd been given a £10 Amazon voucher recently, and with the affiliate cut it cost me a shade over £70. Not bad considering the Minolta was only 4MP and 3X zoom - cost over £220! The Canon looks a bit sturdier as well, and as I can use all the cards and batteries from the Minolta, I'm a happy bunny.
