The last set of photos from our recent trip up north, combining two locations we didn’t spend nearly enough time in. Firstly Beaumaris, a place I’d not visited since I think 1995. It has a charm all of its own, and some stunning views across the Menai Straits to Llanberis Pass and Snowdonia. It was a very grey day when we visited without much exciting light. Still, there’s some drama in the photos and some nice views worthy of a share.
The second lot are from the world famous Bodnant Gardens, where we had a flying visit probably no longer than 30 minutes. We got in free thanks to our National Trust family membership, so the length of time wasn’t a concern other than the fact we didn’t get to see much. By contrast this was the one really sunny day we had, and some of the plants were hitting their spring bloom with aplomb.
