Travelling Fun Fair – Llantwit Major

The annual travelling fun fair was in town last month, in a field just on the outskirts of Llantwit Major. It’s not a big affair, but the kids love it and demanded we make a couple of visits. Now, I love fun fairs, the rides, the colours, the lights, the stalls – their aesthetic really appeals to me. They’ve often featured in my art works in one shape or another, and I’ve taken lots of photos as a result.

On the one visit to the little fair, the light and clouds were very pleasing so the camera came out and lots was shot. I’ve included a few Instagram images as I really like the filtered effects on those photos. Selected below are some of my favourite ones.
